"Have you ever stopped to think how much better blogs would be if Hollywood scriptwriters got ahold of them?"
Christine linked to this site which will make a screenplay out of quotes from your blog, names of celebrities and prepackaged elements -- something like mixing a Mad Lib with a theater improv game of the Lines From A Hat variety. Once I realized the prepackaged stuff was all of the soporific love variety, it didn't take me long to figure out a site -- which is to some extent representative of a genre -- which could make the script into insightful commentary. And not about the celebrities, either. Posted by Gus at December 05, 2003 02:05 AM

Gus, that's brilliant:

GEORGE CLOONEY

(whispering to BUMPPO.NET)

What can I say to make her love me?

BUMPPO.NET

(whispering back)

But then the NRA probably sanctions shooting fish in barrels.

My favorite part was:

KATE WINSLET is on the phone to BUMPPO.NET.

KATE WINSLET

Oh... BUMPPO.NET, can it really be only a week since I met GEORGE
CLOONEY? I am so very deeply in love with him. Do you know what he said to
me last night?

BUMPPO.NET

I started to take Cocoa seriously when Project Builder introduced the
ability to use external editors.

KATE WINSLET

(nodding)

Exactly. (sighs) He's such a romantic.
